Cost of Attendance
The cost of attendance (COA) is not the bill that you may get from your college; it is the total amount it will cost you to go to college each year. The COA includes tuition and fees; on-campus room and board; and allowances for books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, etc.
Based on the information you and your family provided on the FAFSA, a financial specialist will be able to determine your financial aid eligibility. You must demonstrate need according to the Federal Formula.
Need is the difference between the Cost of Attendance (COA) and your expected family contribution (EFC).
COA - EFC = Need
