4 Students from Hartnell College

Welcome to the Noncredit ESL Program!

Noncredit English as a Second Language (ESL) courses continue to be available with various schedules and with a variety of start dates. Synchronous and asynchronous classes are available. Synchronous courses meet online with the instructor on a set schedule. Asynchronous courses do not meet at a set time, students access instruction at their own time. Registered students can borrow Chromebooks and hotspots based on availability.

The non credit ESL program consists of speaking, listening, reading and writing courses. One of the main goals of our program is to equip students with the ESL language skills to transition into our credit ESL courses. Our staff and instructors are committed to help improve students’ writing and communication skills to achieve your personal and educational goals and at the same time, achieve a more satisfying lifestyle.
