The Independent Living Program

The Independent Living Program (ILP) is a program that serves eligible current and former foster youth including probation youth between the ages of 14-21 of Monterey County.  The mission of ILP is to support youth, build relationships, expand their skills, their knowledge and provide valuable tools that will help youth reach their life goals.  This is done in many ways that include, classes, social and interactive events and field trips.  Your voice matters!

The Independent Living Program Program is divided into three different age groups:

Pre-ILP: Ages 14-15.5 | High school-ILP: Ages 15.5-18 | Non-Minor Dependents: 18-21
