EMT Patch
The EMT-53, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), 9 unit course follows California mandated curriculum. You will be a specially trained medical technician certified to provide basic emergency services (such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation) before and during transportation to a hospital.

The Associate of Science in Respiratory Care prepares students to work as Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) in acute and community-based settings such as hospitals, long term care facilities, home care, and clinics. Health Science SealThe Associate in Science in Public Health Science for Transfer degree prepares leaders who promote community health, prevent disease, and improve environmental conditions in which people can be healthy.  It prepares students for a variety of careers in schools, non‐profit organizations, government agencies, hospitals, and wellness programs.

Dr. Debra Kaczmar Fellowship

Now accepting applications for the Dr. Debra Kaczmar Fellowship, which was made possible by a gift from Mary and Pierre Cousineau in honor of Hartnell's Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences. The Fellowship will provide up to $10,000 per year for alumni of the Hartnell Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program to complete a two-year Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Recipients will agree to teach for two years in the Hartnell College Nursing Program upon completion of their MSN. Accepting Online Science Labs

Science courses with labs that must be taught online will be accepted as prerequisites to the registered nursing, vocational nursing, and respiratory care programs.  These courses include BIO-5, BIO-6, BIO-6L, BIO-11, BIO-27 and their equivalent courses taught at other colleges.  

Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA)

Hartnell DOES NOT offer a CNA program but our community partner Mission Trails ROP does.
