Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)Hartnell College Associate Degree in Nursing Program (ADN) and the Vocational Nursing Program (LVN) has proudly received ongoing and full accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Accreditation by the ACEN is voluntary and insures that Hartnell College's ADN and LVN programs meet the highest standards in nursing education at both the state and national level. The ACEN is an entity that is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education programs, both postsecondary and higher degree, which offer either a certificate, a diploma, or a recognized professional degree (clinical doctorate, master’s/post-master’s certificate, baccalaureate, associate, diploma, and practical). |
