Nominate them for the Educator-in-Residence!
The Educator in Residence Program, a program of the Professional Development Committee, is called for by Hartnell College’s Strategic Plan, Priority 3, on Employee Diversity and Development. Strategic Outcome 3B.2. is to “establish an educator-inresidence program in the 2013-14 academic year. Annually thereafter through the 2017-18 academic year, an educator in residence will present to and work with college employees.”
The Educator-in-Residence at Hartnell College is an annual appointment that brings a scholar of note in any field to campus to engage the community in thought-provoking explorations of ideas, cultures, practices, or thinking, and who will have a broad impact by providing a unifying, energizing set of shared experiences for students, staff, and the community.

Nominations do NOT have to be educators. They should be the people that motivate and inspire you in your career who can bring their knowledge and talent to campus for the good of all students, employees, and the Hartnell community.
