The CalWORKs and CARE programs provided 40 Thanksgiving dinners to program participants. Many students stopped by the office with their children, who were excitement to know they would enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
The two programs extended their thanks to the Food Bank for Monterey County for their donations of turkeys and other items necessary for a Thanksgiving dinner. They also recognized Isaura Arreguin for driving her vehicle to pick up food items.
“From the bottom of our heart, thank you to all of our students,” organizers said. “We thank you for allowing us to share in your struggles and triumphs. Please know that you can always count on us!”
