Hartnell to host students and parents at Cash for College workshop on Feb. 25 to answer questions about financial aid resources

 

Hartnell College will host a Cash for College workshop to assist students and families with completing financial aid applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. The free event will take place Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Auxiliary Gym (Building G).

The workshop will provide step-by-step guidance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Financial aid experts will be available to answer questions and help ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time.

Students and families are encouraged to attend to learn about grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities and other financial aid resources that can make college more affordable.

Attendees should bring the following items to complete their applications:

  • FSA ID (student and parent)
  • 2024 W-2 forms (student and parent)
  • 2024 tax returns (student and parent)
  • Driver’s license, Social Security card and/or Alien Registration Card (if applicable)
