Hartnell’s 2018-19 Educator in Residence, Dr. Melissa Salazar, will present three one-hour lectures through April in her “Tuesdays with Salazar Series,” which begins Feb. 12 with a program on “Relatedness as a Driver for Learning in Hispanic-Serving Institutions,” starting at both 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Planetarium (S-101).

Dr. Salazar, founder of ESCALA Educational Services, Inc., will also present “The Role of Culture in Learning” on March 12 in Steinbeck Hall and “Assessing with Success in Mind: Using Cognitive Science to Boost Learning” on April 30 in Steinbeck Hall. These will also be presented at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. All Hartnell employees are invited.
