The Hartnell College Foundation staff, joined by Superintendent/President Dr. Willard Lewallen, provided orientation training for two of its four new Board of Directors members on Feb. 14.
Participating in the orientation were new board members Andrea Bailey, a policy, government and public affairs representative for the Chevron Corp. in Monterey County, and Kerry Varney, chief administrative officer for Tanimura & Antle. Varney also is a member of the Hartnell College Foundation Investment Committee.
Other new foundation board members are Susan Black, former president and CEO of Pinnacle Bank, and Emmett Linder, a 1979 Hartnell graduate who is now director of grower and community relations for Driscoll’s.
