Hartnell will host a visit on March 4-7 from an evaluation team representing the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), including two open forums and a closing presentation that will be open to the public.

As part of a seven-year review cycle, the ACCJC team will review the extent to which Hartnell College continues to meet accreditation standards, eligibility requirements and Commission policies.

The public forums, at which employees, students and community members may share input with the team, are scheduled as follows:

  • March 5, 1-2 p.m., room C-124 (Steinbeck Hall), Main Campus, 411 Central Ave., Salinas.
  • March 6, 4-5 p.m., room C-107, Alisal Campus, 1752 E. Alisal St., Salinas.

The closing oral report, at which the ACCJC team will share its preliminary findings, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon on March 7 in Steinbeck Hall on the Main Campus.

The Hartnell district’s Institutional Self-Evaluation Report, submitted to the ACCJC in early January, is available online.

Hartnell’s last accreditation review was in 2013.
