The Agricultural Business and Technology Institute on Hartnell’s Alisal Campus presented a Water Well & Pumping Technology Workshop on Jan. 25, providing growers, well owners and farm management water professionals the latest practical, cost-effective solutions to achieve “more crop per drop.”
Participants learned how to maximize the economic return on pumped groundwater by correct pump selection, well operation and use of real-time data to effectively match well pumping to aquifer conditions and water demands.
