This site has been developed to provide information about the types of services available from Hartnell College's Facilities Services departments as well as information on how to obtain services.
Our Campus is serviced by a dedicated team of employees working to operate, maintain, repair, renovate, and clean over 958,000 square feet of space over three campuses. A myriad of services are offered including: repair, maintenance and renovation of facilities, custodial services, grounds landscape maintenance, purchasing, and receiving. Facilities is committed to caring for Hartnell through a collaborative team effort. Goals are:

The Informal Bidding Act - Hartnell College has adopted the California Uniform Public Construction Act, (Public Contract Code Section 22000 et seq .). This Act is commonly referred to as “The Informal Bidding Act.” In accordance with the Act, Hartnell College will maintain a list of qualified contractors who will be asked to informally bid on any public works project of less than $125,000 that pertains to their area of expertise. In order to be included on this list, you must fully complete the application (see link below) and return it as a scanned e-mail attachment (preferred method) to Marc Riggillo, < mriggillo@hartnell.edu > or by mail to Hartnell College Purchasing Department at the address listed on the Application by Friday, November 30, 2020.

Hartnell Community College District owns agricultural property located in the City of Salinas, County of Monterey, California, bearing Assessor’s Parcel Number(s) APN 153-011-051-000, a legal description and map of which is attached hereto as Appendix A for reference.
The Hartnell Community College District invites proposals for Lease of Agricultural Property at the above referenced location. Proposals (3 copies) must be submitted in accordance with specifications and conditions contained therein. The District reserves the right to reject late proposals, any and all proposals, or waive any irregularities or informalities during the Request for Proposal process. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing date for submission.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by Hartnell Community College District in the Maintenance Office (Building L) located at 411 Central Avenue, Salinas, California 93901 by 3:00 p.m., Pacific Time, on February 26, 2021 for LEASE OF AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the closing time for receipt, at which time and place all interested persons are entitled to attend said bid opening.
