Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Care Program begins Fall 2022 |
November 2022 | February 2023 |
A Step by Step Guide to the Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the Hartnell College Respiratory Care program. The
program is impacted, meaning that far more qualified students apply than can be accepted.
Before applying, please be aware that classroom and some clinical courses are taught
using face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Clinical courses occur throughout
Monterey County and are scheduled seven days per week and 24-hours each day. Clinical
class times, dates, and places are subject to change based on unanticipated circumstances.
Your success is important to us. Please consider your level of preparedness before
committing to an education in respiratory care. Research indicates that successful
Hartnell respiratory care students work less than 16 hours per week and have an extended
support system of family and friends. Because of intricacies and rigor of our academic
program, we cannot accommodate your employment or family responsibilities.
We ask that you review our Nursing and Health Sciences Student Handbook and Policy and Procedure Manual. Become familiar with our mission, vision, values, and philosophy before you apply. Please be sure that Hartnell College is a good match for you.
