SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell Community College District welcomes students to its fall 2015 start of the semester, Tuesday, August 18, 2015.  We are proud to announce the addition of new full time, tenure track faculty to meet the needs of our students.

“Thirteen new full-time faculty have been hired allowing us to add more classes to the fall schedule,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Lori Kildal. “There is still time to register for classes. It's not too late to join!!”

Fall registration ends on August 29, 2015.  In order to add classes, student must attend the section and receive an ‘add code’ from the instructor in order to register via PAWs. 

The courses in demand include those in Math, English, ESL, and the Sciences.  Such classes will also meet students graduation and certification needs.  A majority of these classes are offered afternoon, evenings, and weekends at Main Campus, Alisal Campus, and King City.

As a result to the addition of new faculty, seats are still available in many of the sections, including:

  • English
  • ESL
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Biology
  • Economics
  • Diesel Tech
  • Music
  • History
  • Chemistry
  • Physical Education
