Francesco and Matteo will fascinate audiences

SALINAS, Calif. – The Hartnell Community College District welcomes Francesco Attesti and Matteo Galli for a  Piano and Organ, a Symphonic Duo Concert  at the Carmel Mission .    The duo will offer a unique concert to the community at large on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at  3080 Rio Rd., Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA . A VIP reception will precede at  5:00 p.m.  with a variety of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and time with the artists.

This is the fifth time Attesti and Galli visit Hartnell College.  Attesti is from Cortona, Italy and is a pianist of international acclaim.    Galli comes to us from Milan, Italy and is the chief organist at local Basilicas in his hometown. Attesti and Galli present a wide variety of music for piano and organ including arrangements of arias from operas, Richard Strauss, Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, an arrangement of “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin, and more.

In addition to the concert  on Saturday , Attesti and Galli will have four matinées for over 1,500 Salinas City Elementary School District 4th  graders, a master class, a community concert celebrating Valentine’s Day, and presentation to music classes. Their offerings go as follows:
