Hartnell College celebrates its employees’ commitment to our students
- A record is reached in Employee Giving -

 

SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell Community College District and the Hartnell College Foundation invite students, employees, community, and media to a special press conference  tomorrow March 21, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.  to celebrate the success of the Employees for Student Success Campaign 2017.

 

The Employees for Student Success Committee set out an ambitious goal of $100,000.00 in payroll deductions or check donations from Hartnell employees, plus to sign up 200 employee donors for 2017.  Join us to find out the record-breaking results of this campaign, and why our employees are the Heart of Hartnell!  The festivity and press conference will be on:

The celebration will include remarks from Superintendent/President, Dr. Willard Lewallen; Vice President of Advancement and Development, Jackie Cruz; and two Hartnell student speakers will share how employee giving has affected their lives.  Cake, apple cider, and other light refreshments will be served.

 

Since 2010, employee giving has become a part of the Hartnell family. The presentation will tell how much this fund has grown, the types of scholarships it supports, and the emergency fund for special circumstances.
