Hartnell commemorates the Day of Remembrance

SALINAS, Calif.   –  Hartnell Community College District commemorates the National Day of Service and Remembrance  honoring the victims of the 9-11 attacks. The ceremony will take place on:

Monday, September 11, 2017

10:00 a.m.

Student Center – Building C

411 Central Avenue, Salinas, CA

The event will commence with a reflection from Superintendent/President, Dr. Willard Lewallen, followed by a welcome by Trustee Candi DePauw, and an address by Faculty Member and Veteran, Peter Calvert.

Students, faculty, staff, and guests will be invited to view a gallery walk with multi-media displays, which will include the names of all victims displayed on a Remembrance Banner, a timeline of the events of that day, and the new 9-11 Memorial and Museum. This event is open to the media and community at large.
