SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell Community College District is gearing up for its Fourth Annual Athletics Hall of Fame 2016 to take place on October 29, 2016 and seek nominations for the next class of inductees.

“Hartnell College has a rich and diverse history of athletic success. We launched the Hartnell College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013 as a way to honor and recognize the contributions of individuals and teams to that legacy,” shared Hartnell Superintendent/President, Dr. Willard Lewallen. “This year we will induct the 4th class into the Hall of Fame and I look forward to honoring this distinguished group of Panthers.”

Athletics seeks nominations from students, staff, and the community at large to identify those special individuals who left a mark in Hartnell Athletics.  The nomination form and guidelines are available on the Hartnell Athletics webpage.  Deadline for submissions is May 6, 2016 . Hartnell College has a rich athletic tradition and long history of success that spans over the past 82 years.  Hartnell College has produced well over 15,000 student/athletes who have not only achieved success in the athletic arena but also in the classroom and beyond.
