SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell Community College District seeks nominations for itsThird Annual Athletics Hall of Fame.   The induction ceremony is scheduled forSaturday, November 7, 2015 at 411 Central Avenue, Salinas, CA.

Hartnell seeks nominations from the community at large to identify student/athletes, coaches, officials, teams, volunteers, and supporters who left a mark in Hartnell Athletics.  The nomination form is attached.   The deadline for submissions is May 11, 2015 .

“Hartnell College is proud to be a part of continuing this recognition by acknowledging the incredible individuals who have made outstanding contributions at the highest level in sports for our institution,” said Director of Athletics, Dan Teresa.

The Hall of Fame inductees will be selected by a committee comprised of retired Hartnell faculty/coaches, athletics director, Mayor of Soledad, Hartnell Foundation staff, the Hartnell Superintendent/President and other volunteers.  

During its first two years, the Athletics Hall of Fame has inducted 24 individuals and two teams.  An Athletics Hall of Fame Wall depicts these honorees inside the Hartnell’s Gymnasium.
