Music Extravaganza 2015 will be Energetic and Joyful

SALINAS, Calif. – On Friday, March 20, 2015, Hartnell College and its Music Department present Music Extravaganza 2015.  This annual musical bouquet is on our main campus from 6:00 to 9:00 PM all throughout building K at 411 Central Avenue, in Salinas.

The ensembles will perform a wide variety of tunes, including traditional Hispanic music, popular songs, folk music, jazz, and classical art music. In one evening, the audience will experience the choirs, orchestra, jazz band, Estudiantina, and guitar ensemble, plus performances by students in our piano classes.  The ensembles will be under the direction of Hartnell Music Faculty, William Faulkner, Sandy Rudo, Steve Ettinger, Phil Collins, and Galina Vinokurov.

The evening will include food, drinks, and prizes.  Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for students and seniors – tickets available for purchase at the door.   Proceeds from the event will go to the Hartnell College Foundation to support students' continued participation in music ensembles at Hartnell.

This is a great opportunity for our community to enjoy all the talent that stems from Hartnell College and to continue attending the various concerts offered throughout the year.
