SALINAS, Calif. – The Hartnell College Agricultural Business and Technology Institute is pleased to invite you to the Annual Open House on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Hartnell Alisal Campus located at 1752 E. Alisal Street, Salinas, CA. 

The Open House will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and it is FREE to the community at large and includes lunchThe event will feature instructional shops, laboratories, and classrooms offering presentations, equipment shows, and hands-on demonstrations.  This is a great opportunity for parents, students, and community to interact with faculty and current students plus attendees will learn more about the Career Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at the Alisal Campus.  Counselors will be present to answer questions and provide guidance to students interested in any of the programs offered by te Ag Institute and the Alisal Campus which include:

  • Diesel
  • Automotive
  • Welding
  • Agricultural Industrial Technology/Fabrication
  • Food Safety
  • Agribusiness
  • Agricultural Production
  • Construction and Sustainable Design
  • Drafting
  • Sustainable Agriculture
  • Horticultural Technician

The Open House will include industry vendors to inform attendees about career options in the above areas, workforce demand, employment opportunities, and how the training offered by Hartnell College can lead to successful careers in demand by local and regional employers.

This is a perfect opportunity for faculty, staff, community, industry professionals, students, graduates, prospective students, and parents can interact and build relationships.
