SALINAS, Calif. - Hartnell College invites the community to this year's Advanced Diesel Technology Program Open House this Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Hartnell College Alisal Campus located at 1752 E. Alisal Street, Salinas, CA.

The Open House will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and hosted in the newly opened Technical Training Build. The building is a 16,500 sq. ft. facility that offers the latest in technology for high quality instruction - providing students with cutting-edge knowledge of alternative fuels and sustainability.

The Open House will provide an overview of Hartnell's outstanding Diesel program; instructors, current students, and graduates will be at hand to answer any questions. In addition, classroom presentations, equipment shows, and hands-on demonstrations will be provided.

Students in the Advanced Diesel Technology program can obtain a certificate in just three semesters. This is one of Hartnell's star programs with lots of promise for the local youth.

Graduates of Hartnell College's Advanced Diesel Technology program are employed by farm equipment dealers, independent equipment repair shops, construction firms, diesel injection equipment repair shops, truck dealers, truck fleets, and bus lines. A Diesel Technology career often leads to positions in equipment and part sales, as well as management positions at all levels.
