SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell Community College District is proud to announce the completion of its 2014-2015 Report to the Community – the District’s annual report with a story of an institution showing growth, achievement, pride and grit.  This report summarizes Hartnell’s commitment to growing leaders through opportunity, engagement, and achievement.

“The 2014-15 Report to the Community captures the many achievements, outcomes, and accomplishments of Hartnell College, its students, and its employees,” said Superintendent/President, Dr. Willard Lewallen.  “It is clear from this report that Hartnell is focused on its primary mission: student success.”

The annual report is a retrospective look at the previous academic year.  It proudly shows its true reflection of the excellence offered at Hartnell College. With the continuing support of the community, the college continues to add to the history of success already displayed in the pages of the report.

“When I read this report I am filled with an enormous sense of pride as a result of our students' successes and the support they receive from our faculty, staff, administrators, Foundation, and the Board of Trustees,” added Dr. Lewallen.

The Report to the Community reflects the six priorities approved by the Governing Board on October 1, 2013: (1) student access; (2) student success; (3) employee diversity and development; (4) effective utilization of resources; (5) innovation and relevance for programs and services; and (6) partnerships with industry, business, agencies, and education.
