Tools for Making Canvas Accessible
Canvas, the learning management system adopted by the California Community Colleges
(CCC), serves as Hartnell College's foundation for delivering an online education.
Tools are provided to increase accessibility support, empowering faculty to create
inclusive learning materials. All content within the Canvas learning environment,
including attachments, links, third-party materials, LTIs, and content must adhere
to accessibility best practices in order to foster an equitable learning environment.
By prioritizing accessibility in the creation and delivery of course materials, we
enable students with diverse needs to fully engage with their instructional content.
