We invite you to participate in these workshops as part of your student development requirement for the Salinas Valley Promise program.These sessions are created with you in mind--offering valuable opportunities to learn from experts, engage with a diverse community of fellow students, and dive into conversations that align with your academic and personal goals.It’s also a great chance to make new friends and build a strong support network during your time in Hartnell College.

Reminder: To maintain eligibility, all students must attend ONE workshop each semester, totaling two workshops for the academic year. Students must be logged into their DUO and Hartnell email to RSVP for the workshops. 
NOTE: You can earn 1 workshop credit by completing 12 hours of tutoring at the Panther Learning Lab (PLL). Please make sure you check-in at the PLL when you attend your tutoring session to track your hours.

To view available workshops for SVP credit follow the steps below: 

  1. Activate your student Hartnell Handshake account. See instructions here
  2. Access the Hartnell College: Salinas Valley Promise Collection Page
  3. On the collections page you will find all SVP Approved Workshops each semester. 
  4. Register for the workshop(s) of your choice. 

Important Notes: All workshops close for registeration at 5:00 p.m., 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday) before the day of the workshop. Locations of the workshop will be released to students that successfully registered in advance. The notificaiton of the location will not be released until after the workshop can no longer accept registrations.
