Salinas Valley Promise Program Application

Fall 2026 Application Submission deadline is Thursday, May 28, 2026, for new first-time college students.

Students who did not meet the initial deadline have the opportunity to appeal for consideration by completing the following steps:

  1. Complete the Common Application for Student Support Programs by July 13, 2026.

NOTE: Students who are currently in the Salinas Valley Promise program DO NOT need to reapply.
Student applicants and continuing scholars are protected from non-payment for Fall 2026 tuition until eligibility has been confirmed. The application review process will begin after the application period closes.
The Salinas Valley Promise program only covers Fall and Spring semesters. If you need financial assistance for the summer semester, please contact the Financial Aid Department at finaid@hartnell.edu or 831-755-6806.
